Dr. Victoria Melhuish
Dr. Victoria L. Melhuish selected podiatry as her professional career because of the sound mind - sound body philosophy and wanting to help others with their quality of life. She identifies her Grandmother as being influential in this pursuit since it was her Grandmother who credited her podiatrist for keeping her on both feet for so long.
Dr. Melhuish is a proud alumnus of the University of Redlands, CA (1986). She received her B.A. undergraduate education, majoring in Biology and Physical Education. Vicky was inducted into the Redlands Hall of Fame for her softball and volleyball accomplishments in 1994. Dr. Melhuish pursued four years of medical education at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco where she received her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine (DPM) in 1991. Having received her DPM, Dr. Melhuish completed three-years residency training under guidance of California College of Podiatric Medicine. One year of primary podiatric residency training followed by a two year surgical residency in San Francisco. Dr. Melhuish has been in private practice since 1995.
Dr. Melhuish is board certified with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She is a founding member of the Lake Tahoe Surgery Center and is a contributing physician to the Washoe Indian Health Clinic. She continues to serve the medical community with hospital and surgical center affiliations at Barton Memorial Hospital, Lake Tahoe Surgery Center, and Carson Valley Hospital.
Dr. Melhuish maintains professional standings and memberships in the American Podiatric Medical Association, California Podiatric Medical Association, American Board of Podiatric Surgery, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She has received grants from the Nevada Vocational Rehabilitation program.

Since its beginning. I began this practice in April 2000 after the medical group I worked for dissolved. I loved this area so much I wanted to make a home here with my family.
